The downside to landing on the north side is that you absolutely need a car to get to the cool places (downtown victoria, butchart gardens etc) and the ferry company rips you off for bringing you car on the ferry (charges 50 bucks each way!)

Victoria Island - BC
Victoria island is a beautiful island off Vancouver canada. There are multiple ways to approach the island - from Alaska, Vancouver (BC), Anacortes or Seattle. I was in VC so I decided to head to the Tsawwassen terminal and take a couple hour ferry over to the north side of the island.
