The hike is a beautiful and there are multiple start points and multiple routes to reach the summit. The one that we took started off at the Manker Flats trail head and was a loop that went up the longer but gradual ascent via the Devil's Backbone and returned back via the Baldy bowl trail.

[Hike] Mt. Baldy - Angeles National Forest, CA
At Mt Baldy at just a little over 10K feet is the the tallest peak in LA county.
The hike is a beautiful and there are multiple start points and multiple routes to reach the summit. The one that we took started off at the Manker Flats trail head and was a loop that went up the longer but gradual ascent via the Devil's Backbone and returned back via the Baldy bowl trail.
